Minich Holds on to Win ProFab 75

Angola, IN (June 21, 2009) - After an accident on the first lap of the Howe CRA Late Model Sportsman Pro Fab 75 presented by Ashley Transport at Angola Motor Speedway Saturday forced several of the fastest cars on the track to the pits for repairs, Kale Asztalos took the lead and held it for 46 laps.  But as the race wore on Steve Minich, Jr., Tony Dager, Lou Stremme and Billy Hutson worked their way through traffic and caught Asztalos, with Minich getting by on the 46th lap pulling Dager and Stremme with him.  Dager never let Minich get comfortable and tried several times to get past him.  Minich managed to hold to win, with Dager in second, Hutson third, Stremme fourth and Rick Rinehart fifth.

"Those first couple of laps, I didn't know if I was going to make it through there.  It was kind of crazy, but I made it."  Minich stated.  "It was fun to race with Lou (Stremme), I have not had too many chances to race with him.  I have raced with Tony (Dager) quite a bit of course, and they are fun to race with.  It was a fun race."  Click Here.
